Striped Bass Detect Shades

Do Striped Bass see colors???  I believe they detect shades.  And without question the shade they are most drawn too is RED.  I put red eyes on my lure and many times( here is the tip) I will use the now available red hooks for bait fishing in the day light.  Why?????? because red is the color that the bait fish eyes show when they are in fear or distressed. ...and striper know that.  Any sign of red convinces the striper that his quarry is vulnerable.  Remember....not the whole lure or the bait itself....just the eyes on your plugs and red hooks in the daylight.  GO WITH RED
