Be quiet...be successful....Although we assume the ocean is loud and fish are used to the noise,...the cows are very aware of any sound that is out of character. Pounding in a rod holder in the dead of night is a prime example. If you approached a trout stream with a three foot hole, housing some rainbows...I am sure you would be very quiet. Put that advice to good use. Big stripers are very cunning and a raucous approach in there area will shut them down and or assure their departure. Those are the very reason why night tides produce huge fish, if the angler remains undetectable....notice I mentioned night tides!!!!!..........Please Practice catch and release on the over 36" cows....they assure the future of this great game fish....buy a camera..pictures last a long time....tight lines.
